New this year, the Drama Club was created for the down-time during the year before and after the two "official" Calvert theater productions.

During a typical meeting, the members first test their wit during various inprov games. They then might work on a short skit that they will present to the school. This is written and performed by the members.

THeir first presentation, "A Calvert Christmas" spoofed popular christmas stories and portrayed teachers as the well-known characters. It was very entertaining for the student body and a huge feat for the young club. It gained the members recognition and the confidence to continue to entertain themselves and others.
