Craig McRedmond

Craig McRedmond was raised in Delphos, Ohio. After high school he attended

Bowling Green State University, majoring in Biology with a B.S. in Education.

Mr. McRedmond enjoys reading and traveling.

Mr. McRedmond has been teaching for 36 years. He has previously taught

at Delphos Public School for one year, Delphos St. John Elementary for four

years, and Delphos St. John High School for nine years. Mr. McRedmond is

currently teaching at Calvert. He has been at Calvert for 22 years. Mr. McRedmond

is the Student Council advisor at Calvert, and helps to coordinate many events

throughout the school year. Mr. McRedmond hopes that his students leave his

class learning that reading and learning can take you to many places.

Mr. McRedmond teaches Biology, Anatomy, and Advanced Biology at Calvert.

These classes work on many interesting projects over the course of the year. In Biology,

students are required tomake edible cells.In Advanced Biology, students expand on what they learned in Biology.

They will dissect a worm,grasshopper, crayfish, clam, perch, frog, and fetal pig. The Anatomy class makes

ABCbooks for different systems of the body. The students creatively find words that start with each letter

of the alphabet to describe the system of the body that they are assigned. The books are

written like children's books with pictures and easy to understand language.
