Anthony J. Mass

Anthony J. Mass was raised in Walbridge, Ohio. He attended Millbury Lake High School. After high school, he attended the University of Toledo, majoring in Comprehensive Social Studies for his B. Ed. There he played basketball his freshman year. Later, he attended Heidelberg College for his M.A. Ed. Mr. Mass has been married for 28 years, and has five children. His children are Tony II, Aaron, Austin, Ali, and Abby. Tony II recently graduated from Bluffton University in May of 2007. Aaron is currently enrolled at Bluffton University as a junior. Austin is currently attending Tiffin University. Ali attends Calvert High School as a junior. Abby attends St.Joe's Elementary School and is in eighth grade.

Mr. Mass enjoys attending activities that his children are involved in, and going to Calvert events. He also enjoys fishing (Fishing Pictures) and almost any sport.

Mr. Mass has been in Catholic education for 32 years. He has taught

at St. Jerome School in Walbridge for three years as the seventh grade

teacher. Later Mr. Mass taught at St. Peter School in Huron as the

eighth grade teacher. Currently, Mr. Mass is the principal of Calvert.

He has been at Calvert for 24 years, and has been the Athletic

Director and a Teacher. Mr. Mass expects his students to be loyal to

Calvert and become closer to Christ.

Mr. Mass has played football, baseball, and basketball in his own

sport career. He was the head coach of the varsity basketball program for twenty years, during which he won 7 MAL titles.

Mr. Mass has also coached baseball and football in the

past. He expects his athletes to help younger athletes

develop their potential.
