Fr. Jim Halleron

Father Jim Halleron grew up in Toledo, OH. He attended St. John's High School.

Father later went to Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, OH. There he

received a B.A. in psychology. He also received a Masters of Divinity at Mount St.

Mary's. His undergraduate studies included a minor in Philosophy, and a major in

Psychology. In his graduate studies he majored in Theology, Sacramental Scripture,

Systematics, and Christian Living (morality). Father Jim has been to Rome and Ireland.

He would also like to take a trip to Hawaii. Father Jim has many hobbies. Some of

his hobbies include golfing, listening to classic rock, playing playstation, attending

sporting events and watching Notre Dame football.

Father has previously taught at Lima Central Catholic in the 1994-1995 school year.

He expects his students to try, challenge themselves, absorb and understand the teachings

of the Catholic Church. He wants to teach his students the "what and why's" of the Catholic

faith. He welcomes any questions that students may have concerning their religious beliefs.

Father is the Chaplain of the football and basketball teams here at Calvert.

Father Jim teaches Morality and Creed here at Calvert.

He is in charge of the Spiritual Commission and serves as the Chaplain at Calvert.
