Fr. Eric Culler grew up on a farm south of Lexington, Ohio. He is the oldest of three children, with a brother named Michael and a sister named Ashley. For recreation, he enjoys reading and writing science fiction, fantasy, and poetry, running, weight-lifting, skiing, playing video games, and hiking. Fr. Eric’s first job in high school was working at Toys R Us in Mansfield, where he stayed until graduation. He has worked as a mailman, Philosophy tutor, and youth director before becoming a priest.
Educational Career |
Fr. Eric graduated from Lexington High School in 1998, and from the University of Dayton in 2002 with a double-major in Philosophy and German. After working for eight months in his home parish, Fr. Eric began studies at the Pontifical College Josephinum, from which he graduated in 2008 with a Master of Divinity and a Sacred Theology Bachelor’s degree.
Fr. Eric worked as a Philosophy tutor in college and taught CCD for high school students. During seminary, he led faith-sharing and study groups for student at Ohio Dominican University and Ohio State University. Fr. Eric is delighted to be teaching in a formal classroom setting for the first time.
